The first one started on Thursday. I was just at Target doin' my weekly underwear shopping (I have certain unalienable rights), okay not weekly but it's a big deal. I'll be wearing that stuff for the next six months.
Anyhoo.
I had a brief impulse to buy some long legged black spandex. You know, for those special occasions where you want to look really hott in some tight clothing. I searched and searched but could not find any. I asked no one, and told no one. Not one soul on this planet knew I desired a pair of those. I left Target empty handed.
Now Sunday rolls around and I'm on the computer. At about nine I walk into my room and there on my desk is a pair of black long legged spandex. And no one knows who put them there.
Thank you Spandex Fairy.
Second, today I was just having. . .a day. You know, one of THOSE days? Which I don't let myself have very often. Something not-happy happened today. Which you might find out about later. But little did I know that my school has the cutest most thoughtful sophomore girls that are just really nice to me.
They chalked my porch. Oh man I always wanted to be chalked.

ReplyDeleteGood day, Condog. This is the Spandex Fairy. Once upon a time I had a tiny butt and those spandex (which I call thermal underwear) actually fit me. Alas, my love affair with food (and subsequent slowing of my metabolism) has enlarged my butt to the point where those spandex no longer fit me. Thus, I bequeathed them to you. Enjoy. And may the spandex be with you.
